For a 2-phase evaluation the maximum overall drawdown limit is set at 10%. For a 3-phase evaluation the maximum overall drawdown limit is set at 5%.

7. What is Lion funded daily profit limit?
At Lion Funded, we prioritize the success and security of our traders. In order to ensure a balanced and controlled trading environment, we have implemented a daily profit limit of 8%. This means that once your cumulative profit for a day reaches this limit, your trades will be automatically closed. This measure helps protect your earnings and maintain a stable trading experience for all our valued users.
8. What is 90 seconds limit?
We require the your minimum of 50% total profit should be comes from greater than 90 seconds trades.
9. Hedge, Copy Trading, Gambling is not allowed.
Hedging positions on same account (if u open hedge positions it should be close in a 60 seconds). Hedging between different accounts. Any type of hedging, tick trading, copy trading, gambling (risking 4% or more than account or daily drawdown stop) is not acceptable and your account will be terminated.
After reaching a 8% growth, all open trades will be automatically closed, and the account will remain closed until the next trading day. The account will be available for trading again after 11:59 pm GMT+3. You can resume your trades from where you left off.
This rule applies to all phases and live accounts within all stages.
10. What is Max Risk?
To ensure safety, we enforce a maximum risk per trade pair based on your account balance: 2.5% for crypto and 7.5% for forex, gold, metals, commodities, indices, and stocks. For example, if your account balance is $100,000, the maximum margin risk per pair should be $2,500 for crypto. If you exceed the 2.5% limit, any profits exceeding this limit will be adjusted accordingly.
Example:
- If you open a BTCUSDT position with a $2,700 margin on a $100,000 account, this exceeds the $2,500 limit by $200, thus violating the rule. In this case, your profits will be adjusted to reflect the allowed 2.5% margin usage, not the 2.7%. So, if you earn $5,400 in profits, $400 will be deducted, and you will keep $5,000.
-
Crypto:
The acceptable Margin Impact range is 0.4% to 2.5%. Any impact below 0.4% or above 2.5% is considered a violation.
Forex, Gold, Metals, Commodities, Indices:
The acceptable Margin Impact range is 1.2% to 7.5%. Any impact below 1.2% or above 7.5% is considered a violation.
Examples:
- Crypto Example: On a $100,000 account, opening a BTCUSDT position with a $2,700 Margin Impact exceeds the 2.5% threshold by $200, resulting in a violation.
- Forex Example: On a $100,000 account, opening an XAUUSD position with a $1,100 Margin Impact falls short of the 1.2% threshold by $100, which is also considered a violation.
Rules and Applicability:
- For Funded Accounts, both the Minimum Margin Impact Rule and the Maximum Margin Impact Rule are enforced.
- For Challenge Accounts, only the Minimum Margin Impact Rule applies.
Penalties:
- First Violation: Any excess profits generated will be forfeited.
- Second Violation: The account will be suspended.
And if u broke this rule 2. time your accounts will be suspended all of your profits will be violated.
This rule applies only to live accounts.

Restricted/Prohibited Trading Strategies for Lion-Funded Accounts
- High-Frequency Trading (HFT): Traders must not employ high-frequency trading strategies that involve executing numerous trades within seconds using algorithms aimed at generating quick profits. For example, using automated systems to exploit market fluctuations for short-term gains is prohibited.
- Latency Arbitrage: Traders are prohibited from exploiting delayed market data to secure guaranteed profits. For example, executing trades based on news or price changes before they are fully reflected in the market is considered unethical and violates fair trading rules. Such practices are strictly banned.
- Hedging: Traders may not execute trades to offset the risk of open positions or guarantee profits. For example, opening a short position in the same market to hedge an existing long position is not allowed. Lion promotes balanced risk-taking and professional trading practices, making such strategies impermissible.
- Copy Trading: Traders may not copy trades across accounts belonging to different individuals, such as relatives or friends. For instance, replicating trades from one account to another to achieve coordinated results is strictly prohibited.
- Arbitrage Trading: Using price discrepancies across markets to secure profits, known as arbitrage trading, is forbidden. For instance, rapidly buying and selling the same financial instrument on different exchanges to exploit price differences is not allowed.
- Grid Trading: Grid trading strategies, where buy and sell orders are placed at opposing levels to manipulate the market or create artificial liquidity, are disallowed. For instance, setting buy and sell orders at specific price levels to mislead the market or simulate false liquidity is prohibited.
- Directional Bias Trading: Traders must not engage in speculative trading by consistently taking positions in only one direction (e.g., only buying or only selling) without proper market analysis. Continuously opening positions based solely on assumptions without analyzing market conditions is considered directional bias trading and is restricted.
- Layering Rule: A maximum of 2 positions are allowed per instrument at any given time. Increasing the size of an existing position will be considered as opening a new position. Exceeding the layering rule will be considered a violation. Account sanction will be decided by the risk team.
Risk-Free Trading (RFT) Rule:
In line with LionFunded’s risk management standards, traders are required to avoid strategies that aim to generate small, low-risk profits continuously. Such strategies undermine fair trading practices and conflict with proper fund management principles.
Definition:
- Small Profits: Any profit target below 0.75% of the account’s total balance.
Penalties for Non-Compliance:
Failure to comply with any of these rules will result in the LionFunded Risk Team deactivating the relevant Challenge or Funded account. This measure ensures the platform maintains a fair and reliable trading environment.
